Home First Finance: Q1 FY27 Profit After Tax Rises 34.5% to ₹160 Crore

Home First Finance Company India Limited reported a 34.5% year-on-year increase in Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reaching ₹160 crore. The company also saw a 25.7% year-on-year growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) to ₹16,938 crore. The management expressed confidence in sustaining profitable growth, emphasizing disciplined underwriting and a granular portfolio amidst a compelling affordable housing opportunity.

Home First Finance Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Results

Home First Finance Company India Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027, ending June 30, 2026. The company showcased robust performance with a 34.5% year-on-year growth in Profit After Tax (PAT), reaching ₹160 crore. This growth was supported by a 38.2% increase in Net Interest Income.

Key Financial and Business Highlights

Assets Under Management (AUM) grew by a significant 25.7% year-on-year to ₹16,938 crore, with a sequential growth of 6.7%. Disbursements for the quarter stood at ₹1,628 crore, marking a 31.0% increase year-on-year and a 3.6% sequential rise. Return on Assets improved to 4.2%, and Return on Equity stood at 14.5%.

Distribution and Technology Focus

The company expanded its network by adding four branches during the quarter, bringing the total to 175 branches and 373 touch points. Home First also added 133 employees, largely in customer-facing roles, to reach a total headcount of 1,988. Technology remains a key differentiator, with the company operationalizing its AI-orchestrated customer communications platform, ‘Cue’, and deploying AI-led underwriting models.

Asset Quality and Outlook

Asset quality remained stable, with 1+ DPD flat at 4.7% and 30+ DPD at 3.2%. The affordable housing sector presents a compelling opportunity, and Home First is confident in delivering 25% AUM growth while maintaining focus on profitability and portfolio quality. The company also noted that Ms. Nutan Gaba Patwari will step down from her executive responsibilities effective August 31, 2026.
