P N Gadgil Jewellers reported a robust Q1 FY27 performance with revenue growing 41% year-over-year to INR 2,413 crores. EBITDA increased by 57% to INR 192.4 crores, and profit after tax rose 52% to INR 105.3 crores. The company also announced plans to expand its store network to approximately 103 stores by the end of FY2027, with a focus on franchise-led growth.

Strong Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

P N Gadgil Jewellers Limited announced its financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (Q1 FY27), ending June 30, 2026. The company demonstrated significant growth across key financial metrics. Consolidated revenue from operations surged by 41% year-over-year to reach INR 2,413 crores. This growth was driven by broad-based performance across its retail, franchise, and e-commerce segments. Retail revenue saw a substantial increase of 56%, supported by a like-for-like sales growth (SSSG) of 46%, while franchise and e-commerce segments grew by 8% and 20%, respectively.

Profitability and Margin Expansion

The company’s profitability also saw a healthy uplift. Gross profit for the quarter stood at INR 319.6 crores, with a gross margin of 13.2%. EBITDA grew by an impressive 57% year-over-year to INR 192.4 crores, indicating an expansion in EBITDA margin by 80 basis points to 8%. Profit after tax (PAT) increased by 52% year-over-year to INR 105.3 crores, with the PAT margin improving by 40 basis points to 4.4%. Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) was reported at INR 7.8, up from INR 5.1 in the same quarter last year.

Strategic Initiatives and Expansion Plans

P N Gadgil Jewellers highlighted the successful traction of its studded jewellery strategy, with the retail studded ratio improving to 10.9%. The gold bars and coins business also continues to foster customer engagement, with a significant portion converting into jewellery sales. Looking ahead, the company remains committed to its expansion strategy. It plans to open approximately 25 new stores during FY2027, aiming to reach a total network of about 103 stores by the year-end. This expansion will be primarily franchise-led and will focus on strengthening its presence in Maharashtra and expanding into Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Central India, and the NCR region.
