Bharti Hexacom: Q1 FY27 Revenue Surges 10.9% to ₹2,510 Crore, Margins Expand

Bharti Hexacom has announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported a 10.9% year-on-year revenue growth to ₹2,510 crore. Key highlights include a 13.0% increase in EBITDA to ₹1,375 crore, with EBITDA margins expanding to 54.8%. Net income before exceptional items rose by 23.2% to ₹482 crore, while the Net Debt to EBITDA ratio improved significantly.

Bharti Hexacom Reports Robust Q1 FY27 Performance

Bharti Hexacom Limited has announced its audited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), showcasing strong operational and financial performance. The company’s total revenues stood at ₹2,510 crore, representing a significant 10.9% increase year-on-year (YoY) and a 4.0% growth quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).

Key Financial Highlights

Revenue Growth Drivers

Mobile services revenue saw a 9.3% YoY growth, driven by increased Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and continued customer additions. The Homes, Offices and Other Services segment delivered an impressive 61.4% YoY revenue growth, indicating a scaling of its Wi-Fi and IPTV offerings.

Profitability and Margins

EBITDA increased by 13.0% YoY to ₹1,375 crore, with a 99 basis points (bps) expansion in EBITDA margin to 54.8%. EBITDAaL also grew by 12.2% YoY to ₹1,211 crore, with margins improving by 57 bps to 48.2%. EBIT rose by 13.7% YoY to ₹770 crore, and EBIT margin improved by 74 bps to 30.7%. Net income before exceptional items increased by a substantial 23.2% YoY to ₹482 crore.

Debt Management and Capex

The company demonstrated improved financial leverage with the Net Debt to EBITDA ratio (annualized) strengthening to 0.80 times from 1.30 times as of June 30, 2025. Similarly, the Net Debt (excluding lease obligations) to EBITDAaL ratio (annualized) improved to 0.20 from 0.65. Capital expenditure (Capex) for the quarter stood at ₹382 crore.

Operational Achievements

Bharti Hexacom expanded its smartphone customer base by 1.3 million YoY, now accounting for 80% of total mobile customers. Mobile ARPU increased to ₹259 in Q1’27 from ₹246 in Q1’26. Mobile data usage grew by 30.5% YoY, with average monthly usage per customer reaching 36.2 GB. The Homes, Offices and Other segment added 416,000 customers YoY, bringing its total customer base to 0.9 million.

The company also launched ‘Postpaid Fast Lane,’ leveraging 5G slicing technology to enhance customer experience, and deployed 399 new towers over the past year to strengthen network coverage.
