Saregama India: Q1 FY27 Revenue Jumps 27% to ₹2,636 Mn

Saregama India has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting a robust 27% year-over-year increase in revenue to INR 2,636 million. Adjusted EBITDA saw a substantial jump of 69% to INR 1,124 million. The music segment was a key driver, with revenue growing 39% to INR 2,306 million, while live events revenue surged by 214% to INR 160 million.

Saregama India Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Financials

Saregama India, a part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ended June 30, 2026. The company demonstrated significant growth across key financial metrics. Revenue from Operations for the quarter stood at INR 2,636 million, marking a substantial 27% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA also showed impressive growth, reaching INR 1,124 million, a 69% jump year-over-year.

Segmental Performance Highlights

The Music segment, encompassing Licensing, Artiste Management, and Retail, was a primary contributor to the company’s top-line performance. Music Revenue grew by a strong 39% year-over-year to INR 2,306 million, with corresponding EBITDA and Net Margin also showing healthy increases of 36% and 31%, respectively.

The Live Events segment experienced exceptional growth, with revenue increasing by a remarkable 214% to INR 160 million. This surge was driven by a multi-format strategy including concerts, devotional events, experiential gatherings, and stand-up comedy shows.

The Video segment, comprising Films, TV, and Digital Series, registered a degrowth in revenue to INR 170 million, attributed to the company’s strategic pivot away from own film production towards investments in projects like Bhansali Production.

Key Operational Achievements

During the quarter, Saregama released over 750+ films and non-films tracks, accumulating more than 250 million streams and views across platforms like Spotify and YouTube. Notable music releases included the Hindi film album “Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam)” and the Malayalam film album “Athiradi”. The company also expanded its artist roster by adding 33 new artistes in Q1 FY27, bringing the total managed artistes to 309 with a collective digital reach of over 440 million. The company also collaborated with major brands for integrated campaigns and saw its songs featured in marquee projects.
