Amber Enterprises: Fire at Subsidiary Factory Temporarily Halts Operations

Amber Enterprises India Limited has announced a fire incident at its material subsidiary, IL JIN Electronics (India) Private Limited, in Greater Noida. The fire, which occurred on August 4, 2026, has caused temporary operational disruptions. While no employees of IL JIN lost their lives, two personnel from the local fire authorities tragically passed away during firefighting efforts. The company is assessing damage and impact on operations and assets.

Fire Incident at IL JIN Electronics Facility

Amber Enterprises India Limited has reported a fire incident that occurred during the early hours of August 4, 2026, at the factory of its material subsidiary, IL JIN Electronics (India) Private Limited (“IL JIN”), located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The fire was brought under control with the assistance of the factory’s fire and safety team and local fire authorities.

Casualties and Support

The company deeply regrets the unfortunate demise of two personnel from the local fire authorities during the firefighting operations. Amber Enterprises extends its sincere condolences to the bereaved families and pledges full support and cooperation with the concerned authorities. Additionally, three other personnel from the local fire authorities sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment. While one employee of IL JIN sustained minor injuries, they have been discharged from the hospital after receiving necessary medical attention.

Operational Impact and Damage Assessment

The company is currently in the process of assessing the extent of the damage to property, plant, and machinery, as well as inventory. Operations in the affected area of the facility have been temporarily impacted. However, operations in the unaffected areas are expected to resume as soon as practicable. The assets are adequately insured, and the necessary insurance claim process will be initiated.

Investigation and Future Updates

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation in coordination with the relevant authorities. Amber Enterprises is taking immediate steps to restore normal operations of the affected area. The company will continue to keep the stock exchanges informed of any material developments, including the actual quantum of damage/loss, insurance claim, and recovery status, as and when they are ascertained.
