This represents a notable increase of 27.5% compared to the profit of ₹246.68 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (ended June 30, 2025).
Key Financial Highlights
Total revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹2,248.39 crore, an increase from ₹1,947.29 crore in the same period last year. The company’s expenses were managed effectively, leading to a profit before tax of ₹412.72 crore. The consolidated financial results also mirrored this positive trend, with a consolidated profit after tax of ₹338.53 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Other comprehensive income for the standalone entity amounted to (₹59.85) crore. The total comprehensive income for the period was ₹277.65 crore. Basic and diluted Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the continuing operations stood at ₹1.20 for the quarter.
Financial Position and Ratios
As of June 30, 2026, IREDA’s Net Worth was reported at ₹14,132.50 crore. The Debt Equity Ratio was 5.59. Key financial ratios, such as Gross Non Performing Assets Ratio and Net Non Performing Assets Ratio, were disclosed as 3.76% and 1.22% respectively, indicating the company’s asset quality management.
Cost Auditor Re-appointment
In addition to the financial results, the Board of Directors approved the re-appointment of M/s R.M. Bansal & Co. as the Cost Auditor for the financial year 2026-27.
