In Q1 FY27, KEI Industries’ revenue reached ₹3,185 crore, marking a healthy 22.97% year-over-year (YoY) growth. This performance was supported by strong demand across its product portfolio.
EBITDA and Profitability Boost
The company’s Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) grew by an impressive 39.57% YoY to ₹415 crore. This surge is attributed to enhanced operating efficiency and a favorable product mix, leading to an expansion in the EBITDA margin by approximately 155 basis points to 13.04% in Q1 FY27, compared to 11.49% in Q1 FY26.
Profit After Tax (PAT) also demonstrated strong momentum, increasing by 40.05% YoY to ₹274 crore. This growth was bolstered by the margin expansion, with the PAT margin rising to 8.61% in Q1 FY27 from 7.56% in the same period last year.

Domestic and Export Wires & Cables
The Domestic Wires & Cables segment recorded a robust 29.31% YoY growth in the quarter, driven by sustained demand and operational improvements. While Export Wires & Cables sales saw a marginal decline of 7.29% YoY, the export business is anticipated to grow substantially due to a strong order book and increasing demand in overseas markets. Notably, EHV cable sales increased by 47.74% YoY to ₹186 crore in Q1 FY27.
EPC Projects and SS Wire
EPC sales (excluding cables) contributed 1.36% to the total revenue, with export sales of EPC at ₹4 crore. SS wire sales contributed 1.66%, with export sales of SS Wire reaching ₹28 crore.
