Nerolac: Q1 FY27 Net Revenue Grows 10.2% to ₹22,995.2 Million

Nerolac Paints has announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27 (ending June 30, 2026). The company reported a 10.2% increase in Net Revenue, reaching ₹22,995.2 million compared to ₹20,874.2 million in the previous year. PBDIT also saw a growth of 7.7%, rising to ₹3,358.9 million. Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited has reported its financial performance for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27). The company witnessed a healthy top-line growth, with Net Revenue increasing by 10.2% to ₹22,995.2 million from ₹20,874.2 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (Q1 FY26). This growth was achieved despite a slight increase in Material Cost to 65.0% of Net Revenue from 63.9%.

Profitability and Key Metrics

Operating Expenses were managed efficiently, standing at 20.4% of Net Revenue. This contributed to a growth in PBDIT (Profit Before Depreciation, Interest, and Taxes) by 7.7% to ₹3,358.9 million, compared to ₹3,119.7 million in Q1 FY26. PBT (Profit Before Tax) grew by 5.1% to ₹3,257.5 million. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹2,423.4 million, an increase from ₹2,308.5 million in the prior year.

Strategic Overview and Business Segments

The investor presentation accompanying the results outlines the company’s strategic focus. Key sections include the ‘Nerolac Story’, ‘Business Environment’, ‘Decorative Update’, and ‘Industrial Update’. The ‘Decorative Update’ details strategies such as new product launches, branding, influencer programs, and network expansion. The ‘Industrial Update’ covers the automotive, performance coating, and auto refinish businesses, emphasizing innovation, technology, and market expansion. The company also presented its capacity expansion plans at Sayakha, Bawal, and Hosur plants, involving an investment of approximately ₹600 Crore.
