Restaurant Brands Asia: Q1 FY27 Revenue Jumps 17.9%, Consolidated EBITDA Surges 265.7%

Restaurant Brands Asia Limited has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (Q1 FY27). The company reported a 17.9% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue, reaching INR 8,226 million. Consolidated EBITDA also saw a substantial surge of 265.7% to INR 435 million. India operations significantly contributed to this growth, with revenue up 23.6% and Company EBITDA rising 133.6%.

Restaurant Brands Asia Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Restaurant Brands Asia Limited has unveiled its financial results for the first quarter ending June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), showcasing significant growth across its operations. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations reached INR 8,226 million, marking a notable 17.9% increase compared to the same period last year (Q1 FY26). This expansion highlights the company’s strengthening market presence.

India Operations Drive Growth

The Indian market played a pivotal role in the company’s overall performance. Revenue from operations in India grew by an impressive 23.6% YoY, amounting to INR 6,829 million. Restaurant EBITDA in India also saw a substantial rise of 68.1% to INR 900 million. Furthermore, Company EBITDA in India (Pre Ind AS 116) surged by 133.6% to INR 527 million. Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG) in India stood at a healthy 12.6%.

Indonesia Performance and Consolidated Figures

In Indonesia, revenue from operations was INR 1,397 million, a slight decrease of 3.9% YoY. However, Restaurant EBITDA in Indonesia showed a positive trend, increasing by 1473.5% to INR 33 million (Pre Ind AS 116). Consolidated figures reflect the combined strength, with Restaurant EBITDA (Pre Ind AS 116) growing by 73.5% to INR 933 million and Company EBITDA (Pre Ind AS 116) escalating by 265.7% to INR 435 million. The total store count across all brands reached 752.

Key Operational Highlights

The company continues to focus on strategic initiatives. In India, key priorities include Value Leadership, Menu Strengthening, being a Digital 1st Brand, and Profitability focus. The store count in India stands at 590. In Indonesia, the strategic pillars are Value Focus, Menu Strengthening, Digital 1st Brand, and Profitability focus, with a store count of 162 for Burger King and Popeyes combined.
