Market Outlook and Strategy

Commenting on the results, Mr. Pravin Chaudhari, Managing Director, highlighted that demand in both Decorative and Industrial sectors has been healthy, despite prevailing geo-political situations. He noted that the company has implemented price increases to mitigate the impact of inflation, particularly raw material costs, which were affected by supply chain disruptions and currency depreciation. Looking ahead, KNPL anticipates continued strong demand, with an expectation that the festive season, enhanced by Diwali occurring later in the year, will further boost sales.

Industry Context

The Indian paint industry is a significant sector, estimated at approximately ₹82,500 crores as of March 2026. Growth in infrastructure, core sectors, automotive, and real estate are expected to positively influence the overall demand for paints in the long term.
