JM Financial: Q1 FY27 Net Revenue Up 13% to ₹883 Crore

JM Financial Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

JM Financial Limited has declared its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, ending on June 30, 2026. The company has reported a consolidated net revenue of ₹883 crore, marking a substantial 13% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth underscores the company’s expanding operations and market presence.

Key Financial Highlights

The pre-provision operating profit for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹469 crore, representing a robust 21% year-over-year growth. Profit after tax (excluding non-controlling interests) increased by 24% to ₹379 crore. These figures indicate strong operational efficiency and effective management of the company’s diverse business verticals.

Segmental Performance

The company highlighted significant achievements across its business segments. The ARC business experienced one of its best quarters with strong resolutions in distressed credit assets, yielding gross recoveries of over ₹2,000 crore. In Wealth Management, recurring Assets Under Management (AUM) grew by 7% year-over-year to ₹33,394 crore, and the loan book expanded by 43% to ₹2,417 crore. The Affordable Home Loans segment saw its customer base increase by 31% to 35,655, with AUM rising by 28% to ₹3,715 crore and disbursements growing by an impressive 87% to ₹360 crore.

Capital Markets and Outlook

In the Capital Markets segment, JM Financial closed 9 transactions aggregating approximately ₹22,000 crore during the quarter. The pipeline remains robust with 60 filed IPO transactions valued at around ₹150,000 crore. Mr. Vishal Kampani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, expressed optimism, stating, “The results for first quarter demonstrate the strength of our diversified business model… We are witnessing early signs of recovery in capital markets which will help us execute our transaction pipeline and improve transactional business revenues.”
