The appointment is subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot. Ms. Unadkat, an experienced Independent Director, specializes in cross-border legal and governance matters and has held leadership positions at Khaitan & Co. and Ashurst’s India Practice.

Ms. Kalpana Unadkat has been appointed as an Additional Director and Non-Executive Independent Director of TVS Motor Company. The board approved her appointment at a meeting held on December 15, 2025. Her term will be for five consecutive years, subject to shareholder approval through postal ballot.
Kalpana Unadkat’s Background
Ms. Unadkat brings extensive experience as an Independent Director with over a decade of boardroom experience and more than 25 years in cross-border legal and governance. She is a dual-qualified solicitor (India and UK) and previously served as a senior partner at Khaitan & Co. and Co-Head of Ashurst’s India Practice (London). Her expertise includes:
- Cross-border joint ventures and M&As.
- Corporate governance laws.
- Advising clients on doing business in India.
- Leading diverse teams in competitive markets.
