The report, aligned with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Universal Standards 2021 and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards, focuses on climate action and stakeholder trust. It highlights progress in climate action, circular economy initiatives, HR transformation, and tech-enabled innovation, aiming for a resilient and sustainable operating model.
FY 2024-25 Sustainability Highlights
Sai Life Sciences has announced the release of its Sustainability Report for FY 2024-25, marking its sixth edition. The report is aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Universal Standards 2021 and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards, focusing on “Driving climate action, deepening stakeholder trust.”
According to Krishna Kanumuri, MD & CEO, reliability with responsibility is deeply embedded in the company’s operations, translating into action through climate actions, circular economy initiatives, people-led HR transformation, and tech-enabled innovation.

- Increased renewable energy usage, with 96% of the API manufacturing unit in Bidar powered by renewables
- Reductions in specific water consumption across facilities
Sai Life Sciences also surpassed its commitment to provide education and livelihood opportunities for 8,000 individuals from underprivileged communities. Women represent 14% of the workforce, demonstrating steady growth in diversity.
