RailTel has been selected by the Ministry of External Affairs to manage the procurement and supply of technology under a new agreement. The official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) was received by RailTel, confirming the partnership on December 5, 2025.
Project Details and Timeline
As the project implementing agency (PIA), RailTel will oversee the procurement and supply of 2000 AI-enabled laptops. The total estimated value of the order is ₹14,40,41,500. The project is scheduled to be completed by March 4, 2026.
