The Board of Directors of ONGC has approved the re-appointment of Arun Kumar Singh as Chairman & CEO, effective December 7, 2025. The re-employment is on a contract basis for one year, or until a regular appointment is made, as per the government directive. Singh also chairs several other ONGC subsidiaries, including MRPL and OVL.
Leadership Continuity
Arun Kumar Singh will continue to lead Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) as Chairman & CEO, following the Board’s approval for his re-appointment. The decision, made on December 5, 2025, ensures leadership continuity for the company.
Terms of Re-appointment
Singh’s re-employment is effective from December 7, 2025, for a period of one year. This arrangement will continue until a regular appointment is made to the position, or until further orders are given. The decision aligns with the directive from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoP&NG).

In addition to his role as Chairman & CEO of ONGC, Arun Kumar Singh also holds leadership positions across the ONGC Group. These include:
