NTPC Limited announces the commercial operation of an additional 78 MW capacity at its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, effective December 18, 2025. This capacity is part of the 245 MW project under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II, Tranche-III. With this addition, NTPC’s total installed and commercial capacity reaches 60,783 MW on a standalone basis and 85,259 MW on a group basis.
Nokh Solar Project Update
NTPC Limited has declared the commercial operation of the second and last part capacity of 78 MW out of 245 MW at Plot-1 of NTPC’s Nokh Solar PV Project (3×245 MW) under CPSU Scheme Phase-II, Tranche –III. The effective date for commercial operation is December 18, 2025, at 00:00 Hrs.
Capacity Addition
The new capacity is part of NTPC’s Nokh Solar PV Project located in Rajasthan. With the commissioning of this 78 MW capacity, NTPC’s total installed and commercial capacity has been updated.
Revised Total Capacity
Following this commissioning, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC now stands at 60,783 MW on a standalone basis. On a group basis, the total installed and commercial capacity is 85,259 MW.
