Lemon Tree Hotels Expanding Footprint with New Hotels in Gujarat & Uttarakhand

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of agreements for two new properties: Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport and Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar. The addition of these hotels will strengthen the company’s presence in Gujarat and Uttarakhand, catering to business and leisure travelers. The Surat property will feature 110 rooms, while the Haridwar property will have 60 rooms.

Strategic Expansion in Key Regions

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited is set to broaden its portfolio with the addition of two new hotels in Gujarat and Uttarakhand. These include Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport and Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar. This move aims to cater to a mix of business and leisure travelers, enhancing the company’s footprint across India.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport

The Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport, will feature 110 well-appointed rooms. It will also include a restaurant, banquet and meeting facilities, a swimming pool, and a spa, among other public areas. The hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. Located near the Surat International Airport, the hotel is approximately 1.6 km away, about a 5-minute drive, and 16 km from the Surat Railway Station, approximately a 30-minute drive.

Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar

Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar, is set to feature 60 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a conference hall, a fitness center, and a spa. It will also feature a swimming pool and other public areas. This property will be franchised under Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The hotel is located near Rajaji National Park in Shyampur, Haridwar. It is approximately 49 km from the Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, and around 12 km from Haridwar Railway Station.

Management Perspective

According to Mr. Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels, these signings are set to strengthen the company’s presence in Gujarat and Uttarakhand. These are considered two key states that attract a diverse mix of business, spiritual, and leisure travelers. Gujarat has 10 operational and 19 upcoming hotels, while Uttarakhand has nine operational and an equal number of upcoming properties.
