Details of Shareholding

Following this transaction, JSW Paints now holds a total of 278,27,723 equity shares in Akzo Nobel India Limited. This includes shares acquired previously through an open offer on November 12, 2025. JSW Paints’ total shareholding now constitutes approximately 61.2% of Akzo Nobel India’s equity share capital.

Impact on Control

As a result of this acquisition, JSW Paints has gained sole control over Akzo Nobel India Limited and will be classified as a promoter of the target company. This strategic move will allow JSW Paints to further enhance its competitive position in the Indian paints market.

Equity Capital Details

Prior to the acquisition, the equity share capital of Akzo Nobel India stood at 455,40,314 shares of INR 10 each, amounting to INR 45,54,03,140. Post-acquisition, the equity share capital remains unchanged at 455,40,314 shares, with the same total value.
