JSW Rail Infra Logistics and JSW Minerals Rail Logistics Operations
JSW Rail Infra Logistics (JSWRIL) focuses on moving steel coils using BFNV high-capacity wagons under the LSFTO scheme. As of now, JSWRIL operates 6 BFNV rakes. Operations are expected to normalize over FY26-FY27.
JSW Minerals Rail Logistics (JSWMRL) manages the transportation of bulk materials. The current operating plan includes 12 BOBSNS rakes and 7 BOXNHL rakes. Operations are also expected to normalize over FY26-FY27.
JSW (South) Rail Logistics
JSW (South) Rail Logistics (JSWSRL) is currently in the process of obtaining necessary approvals. As of the report date, JSWSRL does not have material operations.
Rationale
Management believes acquiring existing business of both JSWMRL and JSWRIL is better than building operations from scratch, given the difficulty in replicating route rights and customer circuits. The existing licenses further add to the value.
