International Gemmological Institute (IGI) has announced a change to its financial year. The company is shifting from a January 1 to December 31 cycle to an April 1 to March 31 cycle, aligning with the standard Indian financial year.
Transition Period
To facilitate a smooth transition, the current financial year, commencing on January 1, 2025, will be extended to a 15-month period. This extended period will conclude on March 31, 2026.
Future Financial Years
Moving forward, each financial year for IGI will begin on April 1 and end on March 31 of the following year. The change received approval on December 18, 2025 and was received by the company on December 22, 2025.
Financial Reporting
In compliance with regulations, IGI will submit its audited standalone and consolidated financial results, along with the audit report, for the 15-month period from January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, on or before May 30, 2026.
