Hero MotoCorp, under its VIDA brand, has launched the DIRT.E K3, an electric motorcycle designed for young riders aged 4-10 years. Priced at an introductory INR 69,990 for the first 300 units, the DIRT.E K3 features a size-adjustable design, app-enabled controls, and multiple riding modes. Retail begins January 15, 2026, across five cities.

Hero MotoCorp, through its VIDA brand, has introduced the DIRT.E K3, an electric motorcycle tailored for young riders aged between 4 and 10 years. The product is part of VIDA’s newly created off-road line, DIRT.E, and aims to offer a safe and sustainable riding experience for children.
Key Features
The DIRT.E K3 features a three-stage adjustable system that allows the motorcycle to adapt to the rider’s growth, spanning Small, Medium, and Large configurations. This adjustability ensures sustained ergonomics and helps build stable motorcycling foundations. The motorcycle also includes app-enabled controls, allowing parents to manage speed limits and lock riding modes.
Technical Specifications
The motorcycle is powered by a 350W continuous / 500W peak motor and comes with a 360Wh removable battery, which can be conveniently charged at home. The battery charges fully in approximately three hours and provides up to three hours of riding time. It has three ride modes: Beginner, Amateur, and Pro, with speeds of 8 km/h, 16 km/h, and 25 km/h, respectively. Safety features include an over-moulded wiring harness, a child-scaled brake lever, and a magnetic lanyard-based kill switch.
Manufacturing and Design
The DIRT.E K3 was designed and developed at the Hero Tech Centre Germany (HTCG) and the Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur. Production will take place at Hero MotoCorp’s green manufacturing facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
Availability and Pricing
The DIRT.E K3 is priced at an introductory INR 69,990 for the first 300 units, with retail commencing from January 15, 2026. Deliveries will initially be available in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur, and Calicut.
Recognition
The DIRT.E K3 has been recognized internationally with the Red Dot Design Award 2025 and the CES Innovation Award Honoree 2026.
