The company seeks to leverage its deep engineering domain expertise and customer-centric approach to advance the region’s infrastructure, smart city, and digitalization goals, particularly around energy transition.

Expanding Middle East Presence

Cyient Limited announced the strengthening of its Middle East operations, aiming to serve customers across critical sectors including Energy, Utilities, Transportation, and Connectivity. This expansion seeks to extend Cyient’s global footprint and enhance service delivery in the region.

Strategic Acquisition

As part of this expansion, Cyient has acquired Abu Dhabi & Gulf Computer Est. (ADGCE), a technology consulting and digital services provider based in Abu Dhabi. ADGCE primarily caters to the Energy sector. This acquisition is intended to bolster Cyient’s capabilities in delivering digital transformation programs, IoT-enabled solutions, data-driven asset management, and field engineering services tailored to regional energy-transition imperatives.

Vision and Objectives

Cyient intends to leverage its engineering expertise to advance the Middle East’s infrastructure, smart city initiatives, digitalization, and energy-transition goals. The company aims to support national development visions such as Saudi Vision 2030 and UAE Vision 2031. These visions create demand for advanced engineering, geospatial intelligence, cloud-enabled digital solutions, and sustainability programs.

Market Opportunities

The Middle East is expected to see investments exceeding USD 200+ billion in the energy sector. Cyient anticipates growth opportunities in utilities modernization, rail and smart transportation networks, advanced manufacturing, and public-sector digitalization.
