Ashok Leyland has reported strong sales figures for November 2025, with total vehicle sales in the domestic market increasing by 32% compared to November 2024. Total M&HCV sales saw a rise of 29%, while LCV sales increased by 37%. Cumulative sales also showed positive growth, indicating a strong performance for the company. Total vehicle sales, including exports, grew by 29% year-over-year.
Domestic Sales Performance
Ashok Leyland’s domestic sales for November 2025 reflect a substantial increase compared to the same period last year. The company recorded total vehicle sales of 16,491 units, marking a 32% rise from 12,473 units in November 2024.
Specifically, the Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) segment showed significant growth:
- M&HCV Trucks: Sales increased by 30%, from 6,609 units to 8,576 units.
- M&HCV Bus: Sales grew by 27%, from 1,304 units to 1,662 units.
- Total M&HCV: Overall, the M&HCV segment saw a 29% increase, with sales rising from 7,913 units to 10,238 units.
The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment also performed well, with sales increasing by 37%, from 4,560 units to 6,253 units.
Cumulative Domestic Sales
The cumulative sales figures for the fiscal year up to November 2025 also indicate positive momentum for Ashok Leyland:
- Total M&HCV: Cumulative sales reached 72,145 units, a 6% increase from 68,249 units.
- LCV: Cumulative sales totaled 46,219 units, a 10% increase from 42,164 units.
- Total Vehicles: Overall, cumulative sales reached 118,364 units, a 7% increase from 110,413 units.
Domestic and Export Sales
