Adani Power has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) for a 3200 MW greenfield Ultra-supercritical thermal power plant. Adani Power has been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) by Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) to develop a 3200 MW thermal power project. The company will supply power on a long-term basis. The plant will be developed in Assam.
Project Details
The project will utilize a Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate (DBFOO) model. The 3200 MW capacity consists of 4 x 800 MW greenfield Ultra-supercritical thermal power units. Fuel will be sourced from allocated coal linkage arranged by the Utility under the SHAKTI Policy.
Project Timeline
The project is scheduled to be commissioned in phases, beginning in December 2030. Full commissioning is expected by December 2032.
