Abbott India Leadership Changes in Human Resources Department

Abbott India has announced changes in its Human Resources leadership. Rajan Kalantre, Director, Business Human Resources, will move to another Abbott affiliate, effective December 16, 2025. Concurrently, Vinutha Mufti has been appointed as the new Director, Business Human Resources, also effective December 16, 2025, and will be considered a Senior Management Personnel.

HR Leadership Transition

Abbott India is set to experience a shift in its Human Resources leadership as Rajan Kalantre, currently Director, Business Human Resources, transitions to a new role within another Abbott affiliate, effective December 16, 2025. He will continue in his current role with Abbott India until December 15, 2025.

Appointment of New HR Director

The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Vinutha Mufti as the new Director, Business Human Resources, effective December 16, 2025. Ms. Mufti brings over two decades of diverse HR experience, having held progressively senior roles across the Pharmaceuticals and Nutrition businesses since joining Abbott in 2015.

Vinutha Mufti’s Background

Prior to her new role, Ms. Mufti was Director – BHR for the Specialty Care business in 2023. Her previous positions include Head – BHR for Abbott’s Primary Care business (2020) and Associate Director – BHR for Nutrition (2022). She also spent a decade at IBM in HRBP and Talent Management roles. Ms. Mufti holds a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication and a PGDBM in Management.
